About me

I'm a space baby, born at the height of the moon race. My family moved around a lot, living in various countries until we settled in the Netherlands where I spent 16 years growing up. Because of this, and all the Dutch influence, I consider myself to be more Dutch than English. I went to the BSN - the British School in the Netherlands and contribute from time to time to their Old Students Association.

Eventually I travelled to the UK to go to University and then went on from there to get a job in computer graphics.

These pages were, believe it or not, all constructed by my own fair hand using nothing more than text editors - no fancy HTML editors. I've tried most of them, but none of them were up to the job. In fact most of them are bloatware. More or less all of the images were either created in Photoshop, scanned from wet-film photos or taken with my digital camera. There's only one images of me on this site and it's here, from the day I got married. That's me on the left with the top hat. And yes, that is a 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and no, you don't want to know how much it cost me to rent that beauty on self-drive for a weekend.......
